Unfortunately, in Afrikaans 'luis' is the word for 'louse'. Which puts me right off: I already prefer Louise to Louisa, but the thought of going through life as a female louse is not appealing.

Don't worry, buddy, the pronunciation is very different. So the sound isn't affected and doesn't affect listeners. Just the appearance!

I dislike Louisa/Luisa. I'm not sure why. From your combos, I would pick Luisa primrose. What about Luisa Florence? First thing that came to my mind for some reason.

Luisa is so pretty, and personally I find it has more class than Louisa (not that Louisa isn't beautiful, it just has a different vibe somehow). I think I just like how it's simpler and quicker to say. I like them in different ways though. Anyways, I like the combos Luisa Arcangela and Luisa Primrose and also Luisa Fiammetta best.

I like it if it’s pronounced with an S!

It's ok, I prefer Louisa

I don't like that S. Makes the whole name feel slippery. I prefer the Polish spelling, Luiza. Ot feels sharp, feline, but also friendly. My mother always said she would name another cat Luiza.
