[Opinions] Marilia
Last night I was at an event where there were not one but two women, both of Brazilian descent, both named Marilia. Apparently it’s a typical Brazilian name. I’m always intrigued by random unusual names being very common in specific areas.
Wdyto Marilia? How does it compare to Marilyn, Marlise etc?“Someone once said that it wasn’t so hard to do right; what was hard was to know what was right to do.” William X. Kienzle

Oh man, I got all excited because I thought this name was Marilla! I do love Marilla.Marilia is very fancy and beautiful. I like it. It's more fun than Marilyn (although I'm biased since I have a boring great aunt called Marilyn and heard the name a million times). If I had heard this name when I was 10, I would have fallen madly in love with it. It's so princess like.I love finding out unexpected names that are very popular in specific areas too. That's so neat.

It seems familiar, but I can't think of a specific association. I like it and prefer it to Marilyn and Marlise.
