Doubly geographical - USA and Europe - and I don't enjoy geographical names. As a fem form of George, I much prefer Georgina, which can shorten to Gina or even Jean. Georgia people always seem to be known as George, which I don't even like as a male name.

I think Georgina is prettier than Georgia as well. I also like Georgiana is lovely if a bit frilly.

You just ruined it for me lol. I did not know it was shortened to George, which I don't like.
