[Opinions] Lisa

I love the name Lisa and always have; it's such a pretty and spunky name. I mainly know of women called Lisa who are 30-50 years old, though I did attend school with a Lysa (pronounced the same way, and she is my age). I'd definitely call a daughter Lisa; I like the name that much. I've never really encountered Lisa being used as a nickname, except for by my 8th grade math teacher (whose first name was Elizabeth, respectively).
I've known lots of Lisas. None that are actually Elizabeth though. A few years ago I heard a woman telling a little girl who looked about three "Lisa Maria, will you calm down!" I thought Lisa Maria was so pretty.
It's breezy and simple, which are not qualities I favor in names. I definitely prefer it to Beth and Liz.
Not bad, but I prefer other nn forms of Elizabeth and would therefore use Elizabeth and let the nn choose itself.
Nice, it's lovely and the youngest I know is a teen
My piano teacher is named Lisa, but she’s from the era when it was #1. I think it’s a pretty name and is bound to remain a classic.
I think Lisa is a really beautiful name. It deserves a comeback.
I agree!
