A guilty pleasure. Not sure why I like it. I guess because it's cuter than most "old man" names? I hate Barney as a NN though. Although I love the dinosaur, it probably ruined it for me.

Barnaby is such a great name. I thought about using it when I was pregnant with S#2, but obviously didn’t. One of my husbands cousins has a boy name Barnabas, so wouldn’t use it now.

I love it and would love to name a son Barnaby! It’s so cute and cuddly but I think it could age well. I’m not sure if my family would like it but I know they would like Barney at least (big Barney Fife fans over here hehe). I also like Bee/B as a nn.

I love it! It's brimming with personality.

I adore it. I recently met a 20-year-old Barnaby and could barely conceal my excitement. It's so fun to say.

It's the ultimate teddy bear name - very friendly, not particularly intelligent or handsome, but makes up for it with warmth. Like Wilbur, but far less burly and more genial.

Barnaby Wystan would be a glorious combo.

It sounds cute, but it wouldn't be my first choice. The reason being, I've grown up on (and around) a farm...and while my family has never had a barn (we have just a shed, lol), they're very common. So, I can only think about the word "Barn". Though, I definitely respect and appreciate it! Barnaby is loads better than just Barney; to me, that's all purple dinosaur and Fife.

I fell in love with it thanks to the character Barnaby Brooks Jr. It's just so much fun to say and I gravitate towards posh names lol.
Sadly it is unusable for me due to a bad association.

Better than Barnabas; much better than Barney/Barny.

I adore it, but it’s been spoiled for me by a really horrid Australian politician.

I like Barnaby. It gives off a quintessential British gentleman vibe. It sounds cute but it's a name of substance and a long history. I can see Barnaby with siblings named Crispin, Ivor, Peregrine, Nigel, Lysander, Rufus or Rupert. His sisters would be called Agatha, Araminta, Clementine, Annabel, Cordelia, Millicent or Winifred.
