[Opinions] Wulfric vs Wolfgang
Which name is more realistic and wearable?? Wulfric or Wolfgang?

Replies

I actually don’t like either but if I had to chose I’d go with Wulfric. You can always use the nickname Rick or Rich.
I'd say Wulfric, because it can (to me) break down into Wolf, Will, or Rick. On the other hand, Wolfgang seems more normal even though it has less nickname options
Wolfgang may look like "gang of wolves," but it's far more practical, especially in English.I used to think Wulfric was pronounced "wolf-rick," but after learning more about Old English (i.e. watching The Last Kingdom), I realized it's actually pronounced "wolf-rich." This made me like it less.
I like Wolfgang. Wulfric seems more suited to a fictional character somehow.
Wolfgang is so cool to me
Wulfric
There was that Wolfgang Puck chef guy who was really mainstream famous, and I don't remember people remarking on his name that much. So maybe Wolfgang might be more familiar.But.... I dunno, I feel like in today's name climate, somehow Wulfric is more unremarkable and wearable. Wolfgang is so heavy and we are not living in an aesthetically heavy age. Like I'm trying to imagine a show or a movie with a varied cast of characters and somehow it's easier to picture a young Wulfric than a young Wolfgang. I like both names, though!
Wulfric is probably more useable but I don’t like how harsh it sounds so I would say Wolfgang plus people, in the U.S. anyway, are more familiar with Wolfgang as a name.
I guess Wolfgang's more wearable because of Mozart. I really like both.
I think Wulfric is more usable because Ric/k is a nicer/more normal name ending than gang.
Neither
