[Opinions] A sibset I know
I know a family with six children:
Gabriella,
Genevieve,
Braxton,
Gizelle,
Brunner,
and Gwendolyn.
They explained that they chose to give the girls names with the initial G (for girl) in alphabetical order from oldest to youngest (Ga-, Ge-, Gi-...), and the boys names starting with B (for boy), following the same pattern.
I'm curious what y'all think.

I like all of the names except Braxton and Brunner.
I like Gabriella and Genevieve, Gizelle and Gwendolyn are fine, and Braxton and Brunner are awful.
I don't get why people limit themselves like that. I like a lot of G girl names and B boy names, but wouldn't limit myself to that, especially in alphabetical order. What if they have another girl? There aren't going to be a lot of names to pick from that start with G and would alphabetically come after Gwendolyn. As for these particular names themselves, I like the girls' names and hate these boys' names.
They decided that Gwendolyn would be their last child, which is why they chose Gwendolyn.
C is for contrived ...
Seriously. It sounds like a couple of twelve-year-old girls thought that up.
And Brunner?
The only Brunner I ever ran across was when I was a teenager and read "Helter Skelter"; Mary Brunner was Charles Manson's favorite wife/girlfriend/mistress/whatever she was.

I'm starting to think it may have been 'Brenner' as it makes a little bit more sense, and would fit their name pattern better.
That’s actually a really fascinating pattern for naming kids! I like all their name choices except Brunner is awful.
I love Gwendolyn. Gabriella and Genevieve are both pretty. These three look nice together, and I like that they each have a different ending sound to balance out having the same beginning letter. Gizelle is the weakest link of the girl names but okay.
The boy names are trendy and sound like a separate set from the girls. Benedict and Bertrand or Brendan would go better with their sisters' names.

If you like themed names for kids, no doubt it's OK. Just hope none of them turns out to be trans. I don't particularly like G- names: Genevieve is the only one I'd choose, and then Georgina, Gail, Gillian; the boy names are not my type at all. If they liked Br-, then Brendan and Bernard would have been preferable. But, in their place and if I really liked that idea, I'd have used the G- and B- names as mns.
Interesting but i prefer individual starting letters for each kid. I know a few families with the same initials and the kids hate it and can be rather confusing especially with mail and documents
