[Opinions] Birth announcement

A woman I follow on social media recently had a little girl and just announced the name: Amina Jane Amina honors paternal grandfather, Amin. Jane honors mom and maternal grandmother. Mom is Kayla Jane and dad is Rahmi. I like Amina Jane a lot! I especially like the meaning and history in the name. Wdyt of Amina Jane?

I like it; family names are important, but only if they don't potentially cause embarrassment or worse.

Amina is a gorgeous name, and I also enjoy Jane; part of this combination doesn't sit right with me (I'm not sure what- maybe the repetition of the ending "n" sounds?), but it's overall a good one. Also, I know this isn't related to the main topic, but...I just wanted to say that Kayla is one of my favorite names!

Amina is very pretty and Amina Jane works well together. I do prefer Amira to Amina though.

I think Amina is pretty and stands out in a good way. Jane is what's to be expected and nowhere near as pretty, but I do see the importance of honoring relatives.
