It's fantastic. I had a formidable physics teacher named Olimpia.
I love this name! It isn’t pretentious but has a touch of whimsy to it, and it sounds and looks beautiful.
Olympia is the capital of Washington State, and that is what I think of. That, and the word 'limp'. And then Olympia Dukakis, and then Mount Olympus. And the Olympic Islands, also in WA.

It's one of my favourite names! Bright, fun, and familiar. I just really enjoy saying it too. Plus it reminds me of Ancient Greece and mythology, which is one of my interests.
I think it's grand and pretty. Definitely usable, but more as a middle name in my opinion.
I don't think of the Olympics, but of Mount Olympus and the gods, and distantly, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark.

I think it's cool and quite pretty. How useable it is in real life, I'm not so certain about...
It’s gorgeous, but I prefer Olimpia for the (slight) distance it creates from the Olympics etc.
Too close to (Mount) Olympus: I don't enjoy geographical names, and I certainly don't enjoy the thought of the Olympic gods and goddesses having their names used today. The stories about them are fascinating, but not one of them could be regarded as a role model!
Role models don't matter to me when it comes to liking names.
I don't really like it
This is Serena Williams's oldest daughter's name. I actually met her once as a teenager and she was an Incredibly kind and gracious person, so the name sits favorably with me as a result. It's not necessarily my first choice, but it does reside in the ranks of "ancient Greek or Roman, and fanciful -ia" names that I tend to like best. It coincidences directly with my taste, even if there are other names I would pick before it. Her other daughter is Adira, which I like a bit more.
I always think of Olympia Dukakis.
