[Opinions] Larimar
There was a quite awful news item concerning a young woman in my country, however I couldn’t help notice her name: it’s Larimar. Apparently it’s of Latin American origin and the name of a precious stone.

Sounds like a masculine name.
I actually think the name is kinda pretty. Beautiful stone and I think on the right person it can be suiting. I would probably only use it if my partner was Dominican though, and ideally as a middle name.
Don't like it at all, especially for a girl
The gemstone is gorgeous, and the name too. I didn't like it at first, thought it was too artificial, but it has recently grown on me.
Not the kind of gemstone name I'd like on a girl, I could see it on a boy though.
