[Facts] How is this Old Norse name pronounced?
Guðríðr
Unfortunately no pronunciation in the listing nor the comments (yet).
It's nickname, Gyra, also lacks a pronunciation-- would it be like "hee-ra?" Likely, I'm imposing Greek rules to this, so I suspect an Old Norse enthusiast could give some guidance here as well. Thank you!!

Guðríðr would be pronounced as ‘GOOTH-ree-thr’, while Gyra would be pronounced as ‘YEE-rah’.
In Old Norse, it is always a hard G and Y is U-umlaut, so Gyra is GUY-ra in the popular transcription used on this site.
