I think the name Gloria is quite a beautiful, refreshing name that has a long history of usage. The name hasn't been very popular in the recent years; many feel like it's (too much of) a "grandmother's name," but vintage names are trendy now. I also think the potential nicknames of "Glow," "Glow-bug," and "Ria" could be kind of cute to use at home. I'd personally love to name a daughter as Gloria, but I entirely respect your opinions!
