SalvatriceI'm not sure how I feel about Argyrous (or Argyros), Astero, and Demos, but they are interesting to see.I'm curious about Shoghi, Zoiro, and Zomenis. Shoghi seems like it could be a version of Shuggy (diminutive of Shug), and maybe Zoiro is related to a Zoro* name, but I can't tell. Shoghakat is in the submitted section as a feminine Armenian name - do you know if Shoghi was feminine or masculine?

Thanks for the response! If I remember correctly, Zoiro and Zomenis both had Greek surnames, and forebears ranks them both as most densely populated in Cyprus (albeit each with one bearer). Shoghi was masculine and Iranian in nationality.
Interesting. I added Shoghi to the submitted section. :)

Wow, what a find! This would have been SO exciting for me. I love cemeteries because they are a great source for names, but so often they are boring. But these ones sure aren't!Kleanthi is great. I have to admit that I prefer the (older?) version of the -anthi names, when they are spelled -anthe. But Kleanthi and Chrysanthi are nice. Erini is adorable. And a real Charalambos! That's a great sighting.
There were so many interesting names there! It was difficult to write them all. And yes, Charalambos was definitely a great sighting, in fact I think I saw multiple!
To be honest most of them aren't my thing. My favourite female name is Artemis
My favourite male name is Calogero I love both of those!
