But for some reason I think a bailiff sounds more male than female.
But I also associate Bailey with alcohol, so I don't think it is suitable as fn for either sex. I can't understand why parents want to name their daughters Brandy either. Maybe it is b/c I'm not American but I don't find these names classy.
Bethany otoh is a good name, a name with history.
