Two more children have joined the family, including Thomas’ first daughter. She is rarely seen out of his arms. Her three brothers have formed a tight-knit pack which currently does not include her, as their parents’ insistence that she can’t play rough and tumble games makes her very boring. Luca takes his role as leader seriously, and is very protective and loving to his little brothers. Marcel has grown into a child so adorable that strangers sometimes turn their heads in the street, though his innocent face hides a cutting wit. Such mischief is not concealed in DS3, the loudest of the three boys, who loves hiding behind doors in the hope of surprising people.

Jules is continuing to pursue his athletic ambitions to the neglect of almost everything else. He constantly has one eye looking out of his classroom window, and if he is not at football practice, he will be at the skate park with his friends and scarcely ever at home. Ada has already left the family abode to share a flat with her best friend. She has not managed to find work at a fashion house yet, but is working as a hairdresser, which she hopes will teach her skills that will lend themselves to her ambitions.
