Some of these are easy to read, like Darika (which is kind of pretty as a feminine form), Xhander, Charleigh, Dolleigh, and Verawnika. The others... they suggest different pronunciations.
Geosus (jo-zus like in George)
Cloughie (rhyming with Cloudy)
Walfe (rhyming with Walt)
Rafunzel (f sound replacing the p sound)
Tailah (I would've thought it was a form of Tyla or Tayla)
Chrystile (krist-eel)
Odesza (o-dehs-zuh)
etc.
I don't mind trendy spellings, but some of these need to come with reading guides. I wouldn't know what they were supposed to be if not for you explaining.

Tailah I assume is from British pronunciation
Person in post said it was from name Taylor. And Tayla is variant of Taylor. And I mentioned in response to post above, I think Tailah is from British pronounciation.
I don't get why Darika is a tragediegh. It looks pretty normal to me.
It was just from the video, not my opinion.
I think it is fine but pronounciation can be confused.

I had a cat named Sally growing up and ca. 2005 or so, I definitely spelled it Salleigh for a time. So while I don't see using it for a human, Charleigh and Dolleigh make sense to me. And while she didn't spell it Darika, I've encountered student(s) with variants of that name. So that one isn't as jarring.
These others are really something, though.
Why on earth would you name a child Felony, let alone spell it incorrectly? That's really something...
Rafunzel sounds like a dreadful joke, like something you'd name a child-oriented musical based on Rapunzel starring seven- and eight-year-olds.
I don't see how Phé'aeyiugh yields, like, sound. Qeirstyn, Cloughie, Ahdyssonne, and Nayohmie aren't much better.
If you're going to name a child after a word, I really don't get butchering the word. Chrystile, Wylleaux, Walfe, and Trezjure are all painful, and those kids are going to be correcting that spelling for the remainder of their life.
I know Christians that would regard Geosus as sacrilegious.
It says something that Verawnika, Jaxzyn, Xhander, Tailah, and Odesza are comparatively not as horrific because I can at least see what name they are aiming for.
On the Lounge, I expressed recently that I felt guilt about one of my first posts on this board, in October 2005, when I told a mom of children named Tanner Ryan and Sydney Reese that I didn't care for their names - though I couched that by saying that they were certainly fine and fit well together.
I feel less guilty about saying these are objectively horrific.

I remember being deeply impressed in about 1995 (so age 14-15) at a birth announcement for a girl named Krystl lol
Tanner Ryan and Sydney Reese are top shelf names compared to that list.
Odesza I have problem with... I don't like place people names but at least spell the place right. This people were not Hungarian so Odesza is very no. Odessa or Odesa.
I like Darika as dah-ree-kah but not Derricka.
The rest I agree.
But trust me there is worse on some of other parts of this list which I will post later...

Odesza is the name of a band so perhaps they didn’t even know it was a place name.
