I would love to continue the SYTTD game, but I’m out of inspiration. Do you have a prompt (dress instructions) for me?
You could tell me your wishes for your dream wedding gown and see what I come up with!
E.g.

A lifelong romantic with a love for pink that rivals Elle Woods, Vanessa could think of no better date than February 14th to say “I do.” There will be hearts and flowers aplenty, and she certainly couldn’t bear to go without her favorite color in the wedding dress itself. She arrives at the appointment wearing a salmon pink sweater, skinny jeans, and a gorgeous golden locket gifted to her by her cardiologist fiancé as an anniversary present.

Were anyone to assume Lana’s nationality based on name alone, they’d certainly be surprised to hear her strong Tipperary accent - though she is half Russian. As a talented ballerina who trained at the Royal Ballet School before joining the Vienna State Ballet, it was no surprise that Lana would fall in love with an Austrian man. Though, despite being a drama teacher, Andreas knows very little of ballet - not that she minds. During the appointment, Lana is wearing a pink spaghetti-strap top, a short black skirt, and black mary janes.

Having grown up in Texas, Katie has been a horse girl ever since she can remember. Luckily for her, her fiancé Winston owns a stable and many horses in England. Since Katie and Winston will be moving to England after their wedding, Katie wants to have the most American wedding she can, which means a barbecue, fireworks, and a game of baseball for the more energetic guests. Katie came to her appointment wearing a tiered green dress and some cowgirl boots.

My mother wanted a knee-length wedding dress and was forced to choose a floor length one, so maybe there’s a story in trying to offer compromises? Or just give the bride the knee-length dress she’s always wanted. She also wanted a bit of colour so perhaps champagne instead of white with a sash or belt.
My dream wedding gown is Greek goddess inspired, floor length with a V neckline and a belt, but without spaghetti straps. The material also has to be soft and flowy.

Britta is the youngest of four sisters from Hvammstangi, a small town in Iceland. Of all her sisters she is most proud of her home, which was why it was so surprising when she fell for an English man. Despite being a total homebody in contrast to Michael’s travel-loving soul, Britta has loved royal watching for decades - especially the British royal family. During the appointment, Britta is wearing a light-blue patterned dress and white high heels.
Britta’s wishes:
- A long veil
- A lacy neckline
- Maybe even a tiara

Some ideas from the past several "versions" of me lmao:
Childhood me would have dreamed about
-cathedral length trains and veils
-full coverage over the bust, appropriate for a church wedding
-interesting sleeves that are the focal point
High school me would have dreamed about
-something Broadway musical themed (take that how you will lmao)
-A-line silhouettes or empire waist
-simple, no lace, no real embellishments (according to my old Pinterest board :P)
College me would have dreamed about
-tea length, full skirts
-a touch of color somewhere
-lots of lace
Current me (out and proud queer, nonbinary adult!) would dream about
-something that mixes both masculine qualities and feminine qualities (think pants with a long overskirt/peplum or a skirt with a tuxedo type top/jacket)
-not white, something colorful and whimsical (rainbow would be welcomed :P)
-sheer inserts for a bit of a sexy vibe as a rebellion against my tight-laced childhood

-something modern but more mature because she was in her 50s

-modest but maybe with a hint of sexiness
-definitely a classic feel
