I've gone back and forth on this name for a long time. I really like it sometimes, and sometimes I think it sounds kind of unpleasant. Even when I like it, I don't think it's all that pretty.
Don't care for any nicknames for it. I don't think they're necessary.
And Bridgette looks bizarrely and unnecessarily ornate. I've encountered Brigitte more, and like that slightly more than Bridgette, but not by much.
Brigid and is relations are less attractively to me, the "d" sound and the end makes them sound unfinished.
