[Opinions] Betta?
Sorry for two post in a row. I saw a children's book oneline by an author named Betta. What do you think? I think it's a cute alternative to Betty.

Betta? No; definitely worse, or perhaps worsa.
Yeah, this is a no from me.Bettina might be a prettier alternative to Betty.
It makes me think of the fish. Sorry.
I like Bettina or Beata (bee ah ta) better than Betta or Betty — say that five times fast!
I forgot all about Beata!
I like Bettina, but not Betta.
I'm not sure I like it.
no ...1. It's too close to beta, as in second-place.
2. It's one of those fighting fish for your aquarium that you can't have more than one in a tank because they'll , you know, fight.
3. Too much like better, as in the hot sauce Mo Hotta, Mo Betta.
It's very close to how a common accent in my country pronounces the word "better." It's hard for me to hear it and try to think of it as a name. On its own merit, it's pretty good. I'm biased because my great-grandmother was called Betty, but in a place with different accents Betta could work.
