I don't like jewel names in general, and Crystal pretty much falls into that category. Plus, the only Crystal I've ever known was a thoroughly unpleasant child in about Grade 3, who was academically challenged and took out her frustrations by bullying whoever crossed her path. She soon left the school and was never seen again - sad story now, but quite a relief back then.
