[Facts] Re: Angus and Malcolm
Malcom is an anglicization of the Scottish Gaelic name Mael Caluim, meaning "servant of St. Columba." Angus is an anglicization of the Scottish Gaelic name Aonghus, a form of an anceient name meaning, perhaps "one choice."

OOps, Norah, that response just sent from Janet should have been from (Erin) Nichole (my daughter who asked me to post the question). Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you for the response! That is great information. Do you have a source (namebook or whatever) or do you just know these things? Thanks again--I think my sons will enjoy knowing these meanings as well as the Gaelic origins of their names.
