1. If I heard Jessie or Jesse, I wouldn't think one sex over the other if the person wasn't standing in front of me. If I read either Jessie or Jesse, I'd think female and male, respectively.
2. I find Jessie a bit nicknamey as a fn. While I like the sound of Jessie, I really don't care for Jessica. I find names such as Jessenia or Jessamine more attractive and interesting.
3. I think the name has a nice soft sound which I find attractive.
4. Many mns would suit Jessie.
