I agree with most here...I haven't met that many Ella's but if you look at trends and popular lists, it's up there...especially across the "pond" (I am referring to the British Isles). I think your daughter will definitely run into some more Ella's her own age. I like the name a lot, but wouldn't pick it now because it seems too hot/trendy. But Ella Kim sounds nice. What about Elyse (pron. "Eh-lease")?
