[Opinions] Brent
My aunty is thinking of naming her child this if she hass a boy, persoanlly I dont like it, take away the R and it says bent, In my area people get teased for that sort of thing. Its not awful but to me it doesnt sound like a name, I dont know why.

It's a nice name even though it was a bit overused in the past. I've never associated the name Brent with 'bent'.
I think it's a pretty good name. Bent would be something odd to be called though....

My first thought when I saw the title of this thread was "Brent...or does that say bent?" :D In any case, I honestly don't like this name. It's just too dull-sounding for my tastes. I think it's rather ugly as well. It's not a name I would choose for my child.
Brent's a name of my childhood...
There were Brents, Bretts, Brocks, and Bens aplenty in my grade, since we were all born in 1986/87. It's a name that still screams "80s!" to me--so it's like, "...Why use it now?" to me. Very tired.
Things might be different in your area, though.
