[Opinions] Miri ...
WDYT of the name Miri? Pronounced MEER-ee or MIR-ee
I realize that it's a bit nicknamey, but I think that it's cute.
Do you think that it would constantly be confused with Mary when said aloud?
I doubt I would use Miri, but I could see using Mira and occasionally calling her Miri as a nickname : )
I also saw Kirrily earlier today and thought that it was interesting.

Much too cutesy for a full name, but it is adorable.
Mira with the occasional nickname of Miri is wonderful!

I really like it pronounced MEE-ree. It's cute. I would never get it mixed up with Mary.

I like it, I think it's very pretty as either a full name or a nn. But the above will be forever my first impression of it!

Miri is a cute name, and works really well as a nickname. I can't comment on the pronunciation - it couldn't be confused with Mary in Australia, but the US is different!
Kirrily (and Kirilee and Kiralee) are common in Australia. They're combinations of Kiri and Lee or Kira and Lee. Kirrily is cute.

Miri looks like MEER-ee to me, and like a natural nn for Miriam. Could definitely work as a nn for Mira, too. It's cute, but not something I like as a formal name (Miri, I mean).

Miri would be pronunced MIR-ee
However, I love it. :-) I prefer it as a nickname to Miriam, though, and have often thought of using it.

I think it's cute. I think I would pronounce it MI-ree or MEER-ee. I can't see it being confused with Mary :-) but that may be because I'm from NZ and Miri I think is common ish. You could also use it as a nn for Mirina or Miriama (these are two Maori names).
