I prefer Anamaria

I'm not a big fan of Annamaria. I do like Annemarie and Annemaria, but Annamaria doesn't sound as nice, imo.

Trite.
Of all the "two names put together to make one name" this is one of the most common. I don't think it's hideous, but I do think it's little more than two decent--though totally unexciting--names stuck together. For me it's just kind of long and ho-hum.

I've got to agree. Much as I tend to like two names smooshed together (I have a hideous weakness for Stellamaris), Annamaria is spectacularly boring.
And then, I also have a severe hate-on for Anna, which doesn't help my opinion anyway.

I can't see your problem with it. maybe it's cause one of my duaghter's name is allyssabeth--i didn't like it at first, but now i've grown to love it.

Did you really mean to respond to my post with that? I can't see the parallel between you giving your daughter a name you didn't like and me not caring for a completely different name presented in a completely different situation.

respond to my answer if you're addressing everyone. And people didn't have "problems" with it, they had opinions about it. That's the point of asking them what they think.

Ooh lovely! I really, really like that. It's extremely pretty and not common which is very good! Way nicer than Annemarie.

I like them sperate but said together. Anna Maria or with a hyphen.

Annamaria is lovely, though I think I prefer it Anna-Maria.
