[Opinions] Jedidiah
WDYT? Is it too "old"? Or is it too "hillbillyish"? I really like this name and would consider using it someday.

Thanks!
I like it! But then, I'm one of those rednecks who knows 10 Jed's/Jedidiah's. (Hey, I grew up in Arkansas!) Maybe it would be better as a middle name. I don't know...
Thank you for your comments!
I agree! Thanks.

Thanks so much! I agree and I probably will use it!
Thanks so much!
Hillbillyish, yes. Also, I think of strict cults and the Children of the Corn. I am a negative critic today, aren't I? Sorry.
Thanks OK; it's nice to get lots of different opinions. However, I still like the name (and so does my family)!
Well, I personally love Jedidiah, too, so of course I don't think it's too old or hill-billy sounding. ;oD I'm starting to like alliterated combos (used to hate them until last week or so), and Jedidiah James sounds nice to me. Also Jedidiah Cain or Jedidiah Tate. With a longer name like Jedidiah, I think one-syllable mns sound the best, personally. :o)
I like it in theory but it is a very long name and I doubt he would escape being called Jed, in fact I bet that by the time he's out of nappies even members of your own family would be shortening his name
Its such a mouthful of a name and no matter how much you might insist on him being Jedidiah people will just shrug and call him Jed anyway especially his school freinds
Sorry but if you really dislike Jed either find another nickname or forget Jedidiah :(
