1) I say: These are my triplets Tania Caitlin, Robin Maxwell & Jodie Pandora.
You say: Wow - triplets!
You think: What awful names; especially the girls. Tania? Pandora? And Robin sounds too much like a girls' name.
2) I say: This is my daughter Anna-Kate Elissa. We call her "Kelis".
You say: Why don't you call her Anna?
You think: I like Anna, but why why call her Kelis?
3) I say: These are my twins Mark Tunis & Lydia Nairobi.
You say: Hi, Mark and Lydia!
You think: Very good first names, but the mns - ugh.
4) I say: This is my daughter Madeline April. We call her "Delina".
You say: Why is her nn Delina?
You think: Madeline is OK, but that's an awful nn.
5) I say: This is my daughter Lindsay Leigh.
You say: Hi, Lindsay!
You think: Ew . . . Lindsay Leigh? That flows into one sound - and a weird one at that!
6) I say: These are my twins Emily Isabella & Ethan Chandler
You say: Hi, kids!
You think: Way too popular for me.
7) I say: This is my son Tamino Renault. We call him "Tino".
You say: Interesting!
You think: Such an unusual name.

You think: Although I prefer Sophia, Clara Sophie's all right and so is Ryan. But Nils Amadeus and Evander - yuck.
