It's Scandinavian as far as I know. So it's pr. "LILL-ay" NOT like Lilly!

In this combo, I'd pronounce it phonetically (Lil-uh, ill-uh), which sounds weird and way too rhyme-y.Without the Illa after it, I pronounce Lille as the town in France (LEEl) but then the combo doesn't flow at all. It's also very odd to look at because of all the Ls.

yeah I really like the sound of lil-ee ill-luh or lil-ee eye-luh but I don't think most people would read Lille Illa that way.thanks for the feedback.

I don't care for it.Btw... Lille, aside for being a town in France, is the Danish word for 'little'. So to me Lille Illa looks like 'little Illa'.

I would pronounce it like Lil. With my pronounciation Lil Eye-la, it sounds nice, though it does kind of run together. But stillbreathingxx was right, it is kind of hard to look at. Lots of L's and vertical lines.Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Actually i think of it like Lil. But Lille would be a cute spelling for Lily, i'm not a "y" person.

I'm not fond of y's either and I also like Lille as a spelling for Lily.I think it might be pronounced lil-uh like in Lillehammer. I think thats how it's pronounced.anyway what do you think of Lille Illa pronounced like Lily ill-uh?

that does sound weird. do you like Lilly Illa (ill-uh) any better?

It's an improvement but still to many L's for my taste. Also Illa does remind me a bit of the word 'ill'. So maybe Lilly Ila (EE-lah) would make it better.Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

to me Ila looks like eye-luh, which I do like. Lily Ila. maybe. but I still like Illa. I know there's the "ill" reference, but it's softer, to me anyway. thanks for your feedback. :)

UmmI'm afraid I don't like your pronunciation at all, sorry. Lily Illa makes me sound sick!~Lillian~

I guess I can see that, but the way I say it there isn't so much emphasis on the "ill" part (I just write it that way to get the point across). It's like Ella with an I, soft and pretty.but to each his or her own. I still like it. thx for the opinion.

It's very hard to look at...

I agree this font makes Illa look like LLA. what about Lily Illa or Lilly Illa or even Lille illa?
does that make a difference?

It's still a little L and I heavy...
