Aubrey and Madison for girls.I really love the name Aubrey for a girl. Audrey sounds too old and stuffy for me. And I can't imagine a boy named Aubrey, it's a soft and feminine sounding name. I'm not a fan of Madison, but I do prefer that over Madisyn, just because I think creative spellings are a bit annoying and the child will spend their whole lives having to tell people how to spell their name.

I only like Aubrie on a girl and only because its a family name (my great grandma...her parents wanted a boy her actual name was Roland Aubrey) so I like Audrey better and I only like Madison Lilypie 1st Birthday PicLilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

Hmm...good question :) I like both Audrey & Aubrey (only for a girl). I suppose if I had to choose only one, I might be slightly more inclined to go with Audrey. But either way, I think that both are nice names. I also like Audrianna & Aubrianna, although they are more on the made-up/frilly side.As for the name Madison, I only like it for a girl. I'd be more inclined to go with the sp. Madison, since Madisyn seems more made up. But, I must admit, that the "y" spelling is a bit of a GP for me and used to be a fave of mine. I also love the name Addison (only for a girl), with the sp. Addisyn as a GP.

Audrey and MadisonAubrey is a boy's name to me, and I picked Madison only because it is spelled correctly (if it were a choice I would pick neither one from Madison/Madisyn).

I'm not a fan of the name Audrey, but it is more feminine than Aubrey. Aubrey is trendy, but I prefer it to Audrey. How about Audra? Madison is overly trendy. Using the spelling Madisyn just makes it even trendier and confusing. I prefer Madeline or Madeleine for a girl.

I agree with Mithos -- Aubrey for a boy, Audrey for a girl.I like Madison, but Madisyn kind of grosses me out. I'd love to see Madison on a boy.-- Sarah

Audrey for a girl only and Aubrey for a boy only.As for the other I prefer Madison. It's simple and doesn't need to be spelled out to anyone.

Audrey! It's gorgeous and underused. Aubrey is masculine, trendy and surnamey. Both are hideous IMO, but Madison is at least spelled properly.

Audrey - I think it sounds nicer and more classyMadison - please, if you're going to use this over done name, at least spell it right. You'll probably be the only person who does.

Definitely Audrey. I don't care for Aubrey at all, but I love Audrey.Madison is a terrible name for a girl in my opinion, but Madisyn is one hundred times worse. Madison.

For a girl? Audrey. For a boy? Aubrey. If you're going to use the name on a girl, just spell it Madison. I hate random y's in names.
