[Opinions] WDYT of Cross?
I was just listening to Christian music, and I thought of Cross. I really like it, I only liked Cruz, that means cross. Now I like Cross as an actual name. WDYT of it for a boy? any MN suggestions? maybe as a MN? maybe Calvary?
WDYT of Tristan Cross?
ETA: also a MN for Lotus [girl].

I wouldn't mind Cross as a mn, but it would seem better to me if it were, say, a family name or surname. Seems kind of hokey otherwise. :-/ Tristan Cross does sound kind of nice, though. :b

I actually dont mind it as a middle name. It has been used as such in my family about 100 years ago, admittedly coming from a last name, on a female; Rebecca Cross Gorrie.
I think it works as a middle name on a boy also, Tristian Cross is good but Tristian is very close to Christian, so it could cause confusion. I think Walter Cross sounds good, so does Nathaneal Cross.

Oh my. I'd say stick with Cruz, it's the lesser of two evils.
Lotus is pretty, by the way.

Thanks for sharing, I won't do it anymore, I just wanted to reply one more time for pointing that out to me. I didn't know! It does make sense to just reply at the end in general to everyone next time I will do that. :).

Thanks :-)
This board moves very fast, and replying to every message doubles the length of every thread, making it move even faster and cutting down the time each thread gets in the top part of the board. So it's advantageous to everyone if we cut down "non text" replies.
Thanks for being understanding!

Gee...
I'm being referenced for board etiquette (sort of). I feel kinda warm and fuzzy inside. :)
(Yes, this is a completely unnecessary post that does what I complained about other posts doing, and yes, I did use "kinda" instead of "kind of" but it's just this once. I promise.)

Man is a depth still greater than the people.

Lmao . . .
I use "kinda" too - I see it as a colloquialism rather than netspeak so as long as it's used sparingly and for effect, it's ok by me :-D

I don't like it at all. Not only are there the obvious associations, but there's also the fact that "cross" is also another word meaning angry.
