[Facts] Evelina
How do you/would you pronounce Evelina? I think it looks gorgeous in print, and I've never heard it before.

My great-grandmother's name was Evalina / Evelena (the spelling is disputed), and she pronounced it as eh-veh-LEE-nuh : )

It's a popular name here in Sweden. It's pr. eh-veh-LEE-nuh
Short and sweet like Swedish summer....

eh-veh-LEE-nuh - the name is quite common in Poland but spelled Ewelina.
I pronounce it: ay-vuh-LEE-nah
I would pronounce it "eh-veh-LEE-nuh", though I suspect that back in the 19th century a lot of its bearers in the USA said "eh-veh-LINE-uh".
