I love the name Ignatius, but I'm afraid it sounds a bit eccentric and outlandish. What are your opinions on this name, and could you offer any similar-sounding alternatives? I think it's the long "a" sound and the -us ending I'm attracted to.

(Ambrose, Lucian and Ignatius?)

If heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied

I love the name Ignatius. I agree that it's a bit eccentric, but that's exactly what appeals to me about it. It's both sophistocated and wonderfully strange.

Ambrose, Lucian & Ignatius is the *perfect* sib set.

Firstly, Ambrose and Lucian are fantastic. They are both very high up on my list. Ignatius is great too and fits well, I prefer the form Inigo though (pronounced IN-i-go not in-EE-go.

It might be a bit much for a little boy to handle. I like it, but maybe it'd work better as a MN?

Ignatius is really cool sounding, and fun to say. However, I don't think there's anyone out there who can pull it off. It's way too much name, imo.

I find Ignatius rather pompous sounding, but I really like the nn Iggy and I do think Ignatius is handsome...but it is too much for a little boy these days I think.
Ambrose, Lucian and Ignatius as a sibset sound good...similar themed names :)

I wouldn't personally use either, and I prefer Ignacio, but I'd love to see someone name their kid that. Love the sibset, too.

Finding names right now I can't think, but I LOVE Ignatius! more as a MN but it's awesome!
