I have always heard the name Dulcinea pronounced as dul-sih-NAY-uh.
Today I learned that Webster's dictionary site lists two pronunciations, neither of which are the one I'm familiar with. http://www.webster.com/dictionary/dulcinea
Any thoughts on this? This site doesn't have the name in the database.

Besides, Dulcinea del Toboso is the name of the young woman who won the heart of Don Quijote in Cervantes' "Don Quijote de la Mancha".

In Spanish it's dool-see-NAY-ah or dool-thee-NAY-ah (depending on the dialect). In Italian it's dool-chee-NAY-ah

Those pronunciations do seem different than how it seems it would be pronounced. If it makes any difference to you, I would pronounce it Dulch-in-eea. Kinda like Dulce.
