[Opinions] Smyth (f)
I must first say that when I first heard this name (in 5th grade, when she was in 7th grade at my school) and she became one of my sister's best friends, I thought it was a really cool name. And - gasp! - I still almost like it. I don't know why, because usually I think replacing an "i" with a "y" kills the name, but since Smith is not used often anyway, especially for girls, I kind of like it.
WDYT? I know most people are going to think it's atrocious, but still!

Oh, how wonderfully ironic it would be if she marries a Mr. Smith.
I'm not overly fond of the surname as FN trend, but this one is really bad.
- It has a masculine sound to me
- Smith is the quintessential "common man" surname, so that's all I think of
- My Mrs. Smyth Smith is too real of a possibility!
Wit has truth in it; wisecracking is simply calisthenics with words.

Even if the E on the end is knocked off, it still looks like it's pronounced SMYTHE to me. I dislike it.
