...because I love Charlie, and Charles doesn't go with my last name. Also will you please leave your rating for Charlton? Only a few people have rated it so far and I would love to see what others think! I know Charlton is the name of a football club in UK and in the US we may associate it with Charlton Heston.

It reminds me of the football team. But I also know a boy with this name and I think it's a good alternative to Charles and I like the nn Charlie

I absolutely love this name! Glad to see I'm not the only one. I give it a 10 out of 10. It makes me think of Charlton Heston, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all!

Oh, I didn't think of Charlton Heston, I actually thought of Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Lol...maybe that just goes to show what time period I grew up in. I like Charlie, but not on it's own. Charles is just nms, but Charlton seems a little snobbish to me.

That's not just you! I first misread it as Carlton and automatically thought of The Fresh Prince as well. Heh.

Well, because of The Fresh Prince character it seems snobby to me, but who knows what my impression of it was before the show. Maybe it was country/western...lol.
