I have always hated the way this name sounds. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me and it has a sinister association to me, I think mostly thanks to the evil neighbor kid, Sid on Toy Story. I imagine Hannibel Lector saying "Hello Sidney." Creepy. The positive association that I have, and the only way that I can see the appeal of this name, is because of Sydney, Australia.
