In Miranda's Despotic World, both Sydney and Sidney would be masculine names only. However, in Real Life, I'll very grudgingly accept Sydney as the female form and Sidney as the male form--even though that makes Sydney an early "Y makes male names fymynyn, duh!" name imo.
