Firstly, I prefer Amelia, I think it sounds softer than Amilia.
And I also prefer Emilia to Amilia. Both Amelia and Emilia are more common than Amilia, so I think Amilia would be misheard and mispronounced.
- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball.
