[Opinions] Sinclair?
WDYTO Sinclair, and is it better on boys or girls? The "-clair" ending makes it sound like a girl's name, I think, but I think it might suit a boy better... and I'm reminded of the Canadian (male) writer Sinclair Ross.

I definitly think of this as a male name, it's very old fashioned but i've heard it a lot, kind of reminds me of names like Tarquin and Quintin
Brothers, Sinclair, Quintin, Tarquin and Willoughby, lol

I think Sinclair sounds like a posh British name. Even though I am also reminded of the American author Sinclair Lewis. Therefore I prefer it for a boy, even though the meaning is "Saint Claire". It reminds me of the name St John (Sinjohn).- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball."I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."

nice name both for girl and boy, by the way i was sure it means clear from sin and not from St Claire

I like Sinclair better for a boy, it's very nice. However, I'm not opposed to Sinclaire on a girl. I once saw a girl by this name on tv.

I'm reminded of Upton Sinclair and a character (female) from the 90s sitcom Living Single. I like it a bit better for a girl.

I'm not a big fan for either gender but if I had to choose one it would be a girl. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
