this name suddenly struck me as adorable. does anyone else feel the same way?
I know many will prefer it as a nn for Penelope, Persephone, Petranella, Paulina or Pollyanna and that works. but just humor me, what mn s do you think go well with Pony? what are your ideas?

I like it better as a nn than a given name (whether that's as a fn or mn), but I can imagine a child with this name being teased either way. :-/

It makes me think of Ponyboy, from The Outsiders.
But as you said, I like it as a nn, esp for Penelope and Petronella.
