[Opinions] Ele
Okay, my fave name ever is Elizabeth. The problem is, there are so many Elizabeths, not to mention Beths, Lizzies, Elizas etc. for their nn. I wouldn't want my child to be Lizzie W. or Elizabeth W. or whatever, because that happened to me and I HATED--ABHORED!!-- it! But then it ccame to me-Elle. Or even better-Ele. Do you like that? I also sorta like Zizi and Libby. Do you? I need opinions. Do you think Brett could be a nn? Because that is also a name I love. And which sounds best for a mn? Elizabeth:Ireland(I think this is cool since Elizabeth is so ordinary), Claire, Lily, Lilian? Write what ya think!!!

Last name Phant? Not a good idea, imo.

I like Elle as a nn for Elizabeth (I've also heard of "Zabeth" as a nn for Elizabeth). My brother even went to school with a girl named Elle Elizabeth, which I think is sort of overkill but yeah. I like Elizabeth Ireland - its a twist on what could be a bit of a boring name but I love Elizabeth Claire.

Zabeth...hmmm, that's kinda cool!

I like Elle as a nickname for Elizabeth. Ele just doesn't look right to me. I also like Libby. Brett is too much of a stretch and Zizi is too cutesy for my tastes.

I like Elle for a nn. Elizabeth Ireland is very cool. I like going a little more crazy with a middle name. I don't particularly care for zizi for a nn, but libby is okay. I like Elle the best, but Ele is okay too.

I like Elle, Ellie, and Betty as nn's for Elizabeth. I don't believe that Brett could work, it's a stretch.Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I also love Elizabeth. A lovely name, and versatile for nicknames too. Elle is OK, but doesn't really seem to flow from Elizabeth. (I know, I know, Betty and a zillion others don't either.) Nevertheless, I still think Elle is somewhat of a stretch.
Zizi -- well, I don't know. That one would require some thought.
Libby -- Cool. Cute.
Elizabeth Claire is one I considered for a girl. Then rejected because I though she would be E Claire. You know, like the pastry, an eclair. I think I was overthinking that one! Anyway, yes, Elizabeth Claire is my favorite.

I'd never thought of E. Claire/eclair before!

I think Elle is a very nice nn for Elizabeth (probably the one I like best), but I don't really like it spelled Ele. I just met someone named Elizabeth nn Biz and I thought it was very cute. I like Biz better than Zizi and Libby. I like Brett, too... I think anything could really be a nn, so if you like it, go for it. Also, Lily can be a nn for Elizabeth, and I know you liked that for a possible mn, so maybe you could use that for a nn instead.I think Elizabeth Claire flows best, but it is pretty boring. I think Elizabeth Ireland is cool, but it is kinda hard to say. Elizabeth Lily/Lilian are OK, but they sound repetitive to me because Lily can be a nn for ELizabeth.

I LUUUUUUV LILY AS A NN! THANK YOU!

Ele is quite cute, but like someone else mentioned, it could get mistaken for Ellen. Zizi is absolutely adorable!!!
As for mns, I like Elizabeth Claire the best. :-)

I know someone whose fn/mn are Elizabeth Ann and she goes by EB for a nn, just saying the letters E and B together. Elle I think is a great nn or even name on it's own, although I'd never use it. Zizi is interesting, probably what I'd use because it's different and unique. Libby's OK, NMSAA. Brett, no--has nothing to do with Elizabeth at all. I think Elizabeth Ireland is nice. Elizabeth Claire goes well together, but they are both a bit too ordinary for my taste. Please sign the petition by 11/8

I like Libby. I had a friend who little sister was Elizabeth, but went by Libby. She talked about how her sister changed the spelling, Libbi, Libbie, almost weekly.Libby is the nn I would go with~~Kris~~

I love the name Elizabeth too! And Zizi is a first-rate nn for Elizabeth, imo... I've never thought of that before, so many props to you.
Elle/Ele would work, but people might assume that her name was Ellen. My friend Ellen is called Elle all the time.
Brett, to me, is a plain and simple boy's name, and it would a little hard to explain how you got Brett from Elizabeth, which is definately a girl's name.
I actually like Ireland Elizabeth better; it was on my top ten at one point. Elizabeth Claire is very pretty! I think that Lily/Lillian Elizabeth flows better than Elizabeth Lily/Lillian, but I do Like Elizabeth Lily very much.Other Combos:

I like your combos a lot, especially Elizabeth Diane. Diane is another name I love. Therese is pretty, too.

Just thought I should mention that Zizi is a cutesy term for penis in French, similiar to pee pee in English.
