[Opinions] Wdyto Lake?
I'm really becoming fond of Lake, for a girl. I'd put something else kind of earthy for a mn, like Lake Aurelia. WDYT?

As a body of water, sure. As a name, no. Maybe as a middle name. Aurelia Lake sounds all right. Lake Aurelia doesn't have as nice a flow. Just a personal opinion. BTW, Aurelia is great.~*Elle*~

Lake is a GP if mine, only for a girl. I prefer it as a MN, though. Lake Aurelia is pretty :-)

I like Lake for boys and girls. The only problem is finding a mn that doesn't make you think of a vacation spot...Lake Aurelia is nice. Very fairyish.Generate Your Own Glitter Graphics @ GlitterYourWay.com - Image hosted by ImageShack.us

I actually like Lake as a name, but I personally prefer it for a boy. Lake Aurelia is a good combo in my opinion.

Lake by itself is kind of abrupt sounding, to me. It's the same reason Brook(e) has never really appealed. But I do like names from nature and you haven't spelled it creatively. So sure, why not? My only reservation is the inexplicable popularity of the name Laken / Lakyn. I haven't seen it for a while so hopefully it has faded. I'm not sure where it came from or whether or not it's supposed to be a feminine or a masculine name. I just know that it makes me cringe. Lake sort of brought back that feeling, unfairly I admit. Aurelia is a terrific mn for Lake. Wait a minute. Now it's starting to sound like a destination spot: "Lake Aurelia." I'm not sure how to avoid that with Lake as a fn. Hmmm. That's a tough one.

I don't really like Lake as a name. It reminds me of wide bodies of water and subsequently wide bodies in general...I do really like the name Lark though. However, as a combo Lake Aurelia is OK, but I think the name Lake Fern would be much nicer and earthier.
