Which do you prefer?

It's for a middle name for Beatriceand to honour a Helen

Helene. I generally like both, but I don't like the "he-LAY-na" pronouncation for Helena.

I prefer Helaine of all the Helen names, really--pronunciation pretty self-explanatory.

I prefer the spelling Helena and the pronunciation heh-LAY-nah.

Helene would usually be prounounced "He-LEE-nuh"

and the pronounciation Hel-en-na. It's a beautiful name and the nn Lena is one of my favourite names.

Beatrice Helena flows well.

I like the look of Helena and the pronounciation He-LAY-na. I don't like the prn. HEL-en-ah at all.
