Siri, no need to be rude - as you are through your diction, no surprise. That's what she said that her parents who named her said.
Siri was not rude
The meaning and the origin of a name don't change because somebody decides to go by another form.

Maybe she did not like the -etta sound?
Zoey may mean the same thing as Zoetta but it sounds differently.
- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball.
"I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."

"Zoetta has all the elements of a pet form of Zoetta." Erm? :S
I'm not sure what you mean...
So, her given name is Zoetta and I asked what it means.

I believe it was a typo.
She meant "Zoetta has all the elements of a pet form of Zoe." Meaning, I suppose, that Zoetta is a diminuative of Zoe. Just because a nickname, diminuative, pet form, etc. is supplied as a "given" name does not mean it isn't still a variation of the original. Hence, Zoeatta has the same meaning as Zoe, but the ending implies that the named is a small girl.
