[Opinions] Charlijet
Charlijet is pronounced Sharr-LEE-zhet. What do you think? What do you picture a little girl with the name, as? Any additional comments?

daughter of a member of the boardI like the shar-lee part (Charlie, Charly) both on a girl and a boy. It's my dad's nn (his full name is Charles Yehiel). But when I see the name I want to prn it shar-lee-jet or char-lee-jet... And the "zhet" part isn't very beautiful.
Isn't it the name of the daughter of a member of the board (Silverkoala, Jhyesmom or other)?

I'd automatically pronounce it either CHAR-lee-jet or SHAR-lee-zhay, but once I'd trained myself to pronounce it correctly ... I think the little girl would be spunky, loyal, pretty, dark-haired, brown eyes?

I don't like it. It looks like Charlie-Jet. It just sounds funny, sorry.

Even pronounced like you suggest, it's still Charlie Jet to me.. also the SH sound and the ZH sound in one name sounds lispy to me, and the clipped final syllable is unappealing. Sorry.. although there are all these things that turn me off, I suppose I'd get used to it alright if I met someone named that. The little girl I'm picturing is medium-complected, dark hair, dark eyes, pretty, and quiet; and mischievous, sneaky, or unpredictable. - chazda

The name sounds beautiful, but I woudn't have known how to pr. it if you hadn't told us how.Charlijet; pretty, tall, long wavy auburn hair, friendly and enjoys life.
