I don't mind being asked a question but seriously "what makes you think" is sort of a bit rude. I'm sure that's not his intention. I do think he could have worded it better, then maybe I wouldn't have taken offense.

No. "What makes you think?" is a reasonable phrasing. It's a direct question and it's not mashed up in jam on a teaspoon to make it easier to swallow, but it is *not* rude.If CKE had said "WTF are you talking about, you must be insane to think that's a girl!!" then that would be a problem. But all of his questions have all been in a polite, business-like tone. You're an adult and should be capable of accepting direct questions without candy-coating or eggshell-walking. As an objective observer: you are being vastly oversensitive, and you are choosing to take offence at something that simply isn't there. Please let it be and take some time to critically assess your own emotional response to this issue, rather than blaming CKE for your reaction.
