What do you think of Eli, Elias, and Elijah? I like Eli a lot, but would like a more substantial full name. Elijah, however, is so popular. What about Elias? What kind of a 'feel' do you think it has - would it go with Henry, Finnegan, Leo?

I like Eli and Elijah and I don't think Eli needs a full name. Elias Gideon is a nice combos. Elias fits quite well with the other names.

My son is Eli full name Elijah, but i am lucky as i live in the UK and none of these names are really used at all, i have never even heard of another Eli or Elijah let alone met one, so I am lucky i suppose.
But i love Elijah and Elias, and as popularity is somethimng that really does bother me - in your situation i would use Elias.

Elijah is fine, but I agree it's just so popular. Eli seems a bit incomplete to me, but I do like it. Elias is my favorite of the three, though. And I also think it sounds best with Henry, Leo, and Finnegan (all of which I love, too :b). Have you thought of Elliott or Ellis? They would work as well, imo. As for mn's, I like Elias Duncan and Elias Gideon best.

Elias feels very intellectual to me. I love it. I think Elias Henry would be a fabulous name. From your list, I think Elias Barrett also works. I don't care for the other middle names.

I adore Eli as well. Elias is a terrific name, and goes nicely with Henry, Finnegan (better with Finn, though) and Leo.

I like Elias much better than Elijah, but I think Eli can stand on it's own. Henry, Leo and Eli/Elias tome work as a sibset, but Finnegan sort of stick out because it's so uncommon.

Elias Bram is very nice! The others are good to, but I think Elias needs a 1-2 syllable mn.
