Like Array, I associate it with college loans. :b It's also just so surname-y and therefore a bit stuffy to me (it even sounds similar to the word "stuffy" :-/). Another thing about it that bothers me--the word 'staff' at the beginning. Just think about it... And being a nurse, it brings to mind 'staph' which is short for a type of common infection (staphylococcus). Neither are great things to be associated with, and it's terribly likely that his name would get shortened to "Staff" from time to time. I LOVE all the siblings' names, but not Stafford. :(
