I think its neat. It's quite Russian. There are some reservations about how well it would work in an English speaking sountry because people may hear "our katie" which is silly. To these reservations I say, "meh. Arkady is neat."

I'd never heard of it when I choose my username though. I found Arcadia in an alternative names article at namenerds. It was listed as an alternative to Caitlin. My name is Katherine nn Katie. Katie...Caitlin... Close enough.

I like it a lot. It's near the top of my list of favourite Russian names, but I've always like the spelling Arkadi better.
